Moorea is a South Pacific island, described as a beautiful jewel floating in a vast sea of blue and green. So, if you’ve ever wanted your own private island(s), your dreams are about to come true.
Q's Dream of Moorea earrings, pendants and necklaces were inspired by the calmness within the atolls of the South Pacific island, Mo'orea, which is part of French Polynesia's Society Islands archipelago. The Islands first captivated Q’s imagination during her career as a commercial model.
These one of a kind earrings are finely crafted in 14k gold with omega backs for a secure fit. The faceted blue topaz and peridot gemstones create a beautiful frame showing off the hand picked baroque pearl.
What are Baroque Pearls?
These are irregular pearls breaking the traditional view that
pearls have to be perfectly round and perfectly smooth. Baroque
pearls are for the modern woman who wants to make a statement.
They’re also perfect for anyone who loves the quirky and unique.
The word ‘baroque’ comes from the Portuguese term barroco which
meant imperfect, coarse or uneven pearl. According to a 1694
French dictionary, baroque was defined as a word used to describe
pearls that are imperfectly round.
