This black rhodium over sterling silver and 22k bi-metal, wide
band Edge Ring has shapes and textures lifted from a tropical
paradise (and a Zen feeling you will love).

    • Finely crafted in black rhodium over sterling silver and 22k bi-metal.
    • Available in half and whole sizes 6-9, larger sizes available as custom orders (please call for price).

One of Q's favorites, the Black and Gold Edge Ring combines the vibrancy of gold with the deep tones of Black Rhodium. Experiencing colors, textures and shapes in nature, and cities small and large, has always inspired my designs, as have philosophies like Wabi Sabi.

    What is Wabi Sabi?
Wabi sabi, an ancient aesthetic philosophy rooted in Zen Buddhism, inspired the Edge Ring. Wabi Sabi is a ritual of purity and simplicity in which masters prized handmade bowls that were irregularly shaped, with uneven glaze and cracks, creating beauty in deliberate imperfection. Edge Rings embrace this philosophy of "beauty in imperfection" with purposeful alterations in symmetry and metal texture while achieving perfect balance, celebrating the uneven, asymmetrical and always curved lines of wabi sabi.

Q's love of color, texture and shape come together beautifully in this ring with black rhodium over fabricated sterling silver and 22k gold bi metal detail. Black Rhodium is a rare and precious metal in the same family as Platinum with similar characteristics. The bi-metal is a layer of 22 karat gold alloy with a bright yellow color that is bonded with sterling silver to form a sheet of precious metal with two distinct surfaces. Q's Edge Ring is our best selling ring of all time, and our top selling commitment ring. It's also available in Vermeil, Sterling Silver (with White Rhodium for anti-tarnish), 14k gold, 14k gold with white diamond, and lightly oxidized sterling silver.

Not sure of your ring size?
It's easy to determine your ring size right at home. When buying a ring with a wide band, it’s generally advised to order the ring a half size larger because the width of the band changes the fit. Read Q's blog Ring Sizing Made Easy!
